Our Mission

Airdrie CultureFest is an event that showcases and celebrates Airdrie’s growing diversity through an immersive and interactive experience.

Our mission is to ensure all Airdrie residents feel a sense of belonging, build relationships within and across cultural communities, and foster understanding and acceptance. As a grassroots non-profit society led by passionate Airdrie residents and cultural leaders, we believe that all Airdronians should feel at home here—and never alone. This event will serve as a stepping stone for all Airdrie residents to discover commonalities, celebrate differences, and truly feel that Airdrie is home.

Our Values

The Airdrie CultureFest board and broader committee represent a rich diversity of cultures and professional backgrounds from both within Airdrie and beyond. With such diversity comes a wide range of perspectives, which is why the planning committee felt it was essential to identify shared values that would unite and ground us in a spirit of community and connection.
